The co-chairman of the newly formed Ukrainian-Chinese working subgroup, MP Ivan Miroshnichenko, said this in an exclusive interview with AgroPolit.com.
"Well-balanced cooperation with the Chinese will bring Ukraine $8-12 billion as investment over the next five years. The amount may double if the military conflict in the east is settled during this period," he said.
According to him, a Chinese delegation headed by Vice Premier Ma Kai is expected to visit Ukraine at the beginning of next week. In focus are "inventory" and revitalization of all investment projects between the two countries, and many of them are in the agricultural sector.
"In the international arena there is an investment 'calm' with regard to Ukraine, so Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation is very important for us today," Miroshnichenko said.
