Renewable energy generation capacity of 300 MW to be installed in 2017 – Savchuk

Additional facilities producing heat and electricity from renewable energy sources will be installed in Ukraine by the end of 2017.
Head of State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving Serhiy Savchuk said this during the II Ukrainian Renewable Energy Forum'17, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Investments in this sector have reached 2.5 million euros over 2.5 years," Savchuk said.
He added that a capacity of these energy generation facilities total about 300 MW.
"We should no longer identify existing problems, but attract investments in projects that have been already developed," Savchuk stressed.
