Capital investments in Ukraine grew 20.7% in January-September 2017 – State Statistics

In January-September 2017, enterprises and organizations of Ukraine used UAH 259.5 billion of capital investments, which is 20.7% more compared to the same period last year, the State Statistics Service reported. 

“In January-September 2017, enterprises and organizations used UAH 259.5 billion of capital investments from all sources of financing, which is 20.7% more than the volume of capital investments for the corresponding period in 2016,” reads a report.

According to the State Statistics, own funds of enterprises and organizations remained the main source of financing of capital investments, due to which 72.7% of the total volume was used.

Significant shares of capital investments were used in machinery, equipment, stock and vehicles - 49.7% of all investments, buildings and constructions - 42.7%.

According to the State Statistics, the data cover all regions of Ukraine, except for the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as parts of the ATO zone in eastern Ukraine.
