Industrial production in Ukraine decreased by 0.2% in January-October 2017

Industrial production in Ukraine in January-October 2017 decreased by 0.2% compared to the same period last year and by 0.1% in October 2017 compared to the previous month, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

“In January-October 2017, the industrial production index totaled 99.8% compared to January-October 2016, including the mining and quarry development industry - 93.7%, processing industry - 103.8%, the supply of electricity, gas, steam and conditioned air - 94.1%, “ reads the report.

In October 2017, the seasonally adjusted index of industrial production totaled 99.9% against October 2016, and the index of industrial products adjusted for the effect of calendar days in October 2017 made up 99.5% compared to October 2016.

According to the State Statistics, the data cover all regions of Ukraine, except for the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as parts of the ATO zone in eastern Ukraine.
