Supermarket chains in Asian countries expect products of premium quality from Ukrainian agro-industrial complex

In the framework of the project to promote exports in the sector of fruits and vegetables and organic products of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), supermarket chains in Asian countries are looking for Ukrainian producers of vegetables, fruits and organic products.
Economist of the investment department of FAO Andriy Yarmak wrote this on Facebook.
"We are looking for companies to hold direct negotiations with supermarket chains in rich countries of Asia ... Producers of premium quality products in retail packaging in the following categories: fresh, frozen, dried vegetables, fruits, berries, organic products," the report reads.
However, for the organization of systematic regular export of apples, only large agro-enterprises organized on the basis of cooperation will be suitable, which can offer from 2 thousand tons of homogeneous apples of high quality in the storage.
