Nasalyk: National Coal Company statute may be approved at next government meeting

Energy and Coal Industry Minister Ihor Nasalyk has said that the National Coal Company plays a key role in the process of reforming the coal industry of Ukraine.
"The establishment of the National Coal Company is the only key to reform the coal industry in our country. The government of Groysman came to power when the coal industry had [UAH] 15.6 billion of debts, UAH 1.8 billion of material and technical resources’ debts, and wage arrears over 4.5 months,” Nasalyk said at a Government Question Hour meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to him, the Cabinet of Ministers at its next meeting may consider the statute of the National Coal Company, which will enable the company to start operating.
