VR ratifies agreement with EIB on EUR 120 mln loan to support energy efficiency projects at universities

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has ratified the financial agreement between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank (EIB), which envisages attracting a EUR 120 million loan to support Ukraine in implementing the project "Ukraine’s Higher Education ".
A total of 231 MPs voted in favor of the relevant law, No. 0160, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to an explanatory note to the bill, its adoption will help attracting funds for implementing measures to improve the energy efficiency of university buildings and other investments related to the educational process.
A reminder that the agreement on support for Ukraine’s higher education and energy efficiency was signed in Brussels on December 19, 2016.
