EBRD confirms stable growth of Ukraine's GDP

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) revised the forecasts of economic growth for the current and the next years, confirming the Ukraine's GDP forecasts at 2% in 2017 and 3% in 2018.

This is stated in the press release on the EBRD website.

 In particular, the EBRD presented a table for the regions of Europe, putting Ukraine in the Eastern Europe and the Caucasus group. It is said that the actual GDP of Ukraine rose from -9.8% in 2015 to 2.3% in 2016. The GDP growth is expected at 2.0% in 2017 and up to 3.0% in 2018, which is in line with the EBRD's previous forecasts issued in May this year.

At the same time, the increase in the average GDP in the whole region is forecasted at the level of 3.3% this year and 3% in the next.
