PGNiG gets access to Ukrainian gas storage facilities

The Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) signed the agreement with Ukraine's gas transmission system operator PJSC “Ukrtransgaz” on access to Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities.

This is stated in the statement of the PGNiG available to Ukrinform.

"The Polish Oil and Gas Company has signed another agreement with Ukraine's gas transmission system operator PJSC ‘Ukrtransgaz’. The new contract will allow PGNiG using underground gas storage facilities on the territory of Ukraine," the Polish company says in its statement.

According to the company, this agreement will provide additional opportunities for the development of PGNiG's activities in the field of natural gas trading on the Ukrainian market.

As Vice Chairman of the PGNiG Management Board for Trade Maciej Wozniak noted, the company boosts its activity in European markets.

"The signing of the agreement with Ukrtransgaz is an important element of the company's activities aimed at strengthening our competitiveness in Ukraine," Wozniak said.
