Energy Ministry promises to pay off wage debts to miners until the end of next week

Deputy Energy Minister Anatoliy Korzun said this during Government Question Hour meeting held in Parliament on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We’re considering the issue of state support, and also funds are being received from the sale of coal. During this day and Monday, these funds will be paid. As to the rest of the debt, next week the funds will be raised so that we can pay off the debt,” Korzun said.

He also added that the ministry submitted proposals regarding the support of the coal industry next year, and some of them had been already approved.
