PM Groysman: Agriculture development among main priorities for next year

The development of the Ukrainian agriculture is among main priorities for Government for the next year.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stated this during Government Question Hour meeting on Friday, October 20, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In the next year's budget, we pay significant attention to the development of the country's agricultural and industrial complex. I believe it is the main priority. We in no way will support the oligarchs. We will support domestic producers of agricultural products. We will not limit anyone in anything, everybody will produce as much as they will," Groysman said.

He also added that special attention should be given to the support of producers in the villages.

"Therefore, we are implementing the support program for agriculture, livestock farming, and Ukrainian engineering. In 2018, we as never before will take the right, balanced steps to support the country. People should be employed, as well as there should be high-quality inexpensive Ukrainian products," Groysman added.
