Reva assures that increased pensions will not cause inflation

Social Policy Minister of Ukraine Andriy Reva assures that the increase in pensions due to the pension reform should not lead to price rise and inflation.
He stated this while speaking during the Hour of Questions to the Government in the Parliament, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The increase in pensions we have made is not inflationary. We did not print money, we did not borrow them from international financial institutions, we did not increase the subsidy from the state budget. These funds came from the economy, they are non-inflationary, and, therefore, it should not lead to price rise and inflation," Reva said.
