Ukraine increased gas production by 3.7% - Energy Ministry

In January-September 2017, Ukraine increased gas production by 552 million cubic meters, or 3.7% compared with the same period last year, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reports.
"In January-September 2017, gas production grew by 552 million cubic meters, or 3.7% compared with the same period in 2016. In addition, gas production by NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine grew by 307 million cubic meters, or 2, 6%," reads the report.
As Ukrinform earlier reported, over the nine months in 2017, PJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine purchased 10.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas from PJSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya.
