Ukraine and the UK amend bilateral agreement for avoidance of double taxation

Ukraine and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland signed the protocol on amendments to the agreement for avoidance of double taxation.

This is reported by the press service of the Finance Ministry of Ukraine.

"Finance Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk and Minister of State for Europe and the Americas at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office of the UK Alan Duncan signed the protocol on amendments to the agreement for avoidance of double taxation between the governments of Ukraine and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland within the framework of bilateral cooperation today in London," the statement reads.

It is noted that the conclusion of this protocol is aimed at avoiding double taxation of incomes of individuals and legal entities that arise in the territories of both countries. The Finance Ministry explains that this creates favorable conditions for investors of Ukraine and the UK, stimulates the business initiative of entrepreneurs and regulates the issues of international taxation of income in bilateral relations between the states.
