General Electric to help modernize Ukrainian railways

He stated this at the International Economic Forum in Kyiv on October 5, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Yesterday I complemented talks with the company General Electric. We have agreed that we will unite our efforts to modernize the entire system of Ukrainian railways. We will not just purchase needed products from General Electric, but we will jointly produce these products in Ukraine," Groysman said.

According to him, the cooperation will begin with the 10% localization of production in the territory of Ukraine, while then it is expected to reach the figure of 40%.
