Ukraine has reached a principled agreement with Canada to include services and investment in the Free Trade Agreement between the countries.
Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Andriy Shevchenko said this in an interview with Ukrinform following the visit of President Poroshenko to Canada.
"The agreement was reached to include services and investment in the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement. According to the wording of the agreement, it is scheduled to be revised two years after its entry into force. Extending the effect of the agreement to services and investment is recognized by our countries as the next logical step," Shevchenko said.
According to him, the parties also managed to achieve during numerous meetings in Toronto a significant progress on the issue of deepening cooperation in the film production and aerospace industry.
