Salaries of Ukrainian servicemen to grow 4.5-fold next year

The salaries of Ukrainian servicemen will grow 4.5-fold starting from January 1, 2018.
Aide to the Chairman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Oleh Slobodian wrote this on Facebook.
"Good news for border guards and all military personnel: salaries of servicemen and women will grow 4.5-fold starting from January 1, 2018," Slobodian wrote.
He explained that the official salary of the military would depend on the minimum subsistence level starting from 1 January 2018. This will ensure an annual increase in the allowance of the serviceman and women depending on the increase in social standards in the state. The fixed official salaries will increase 4.5-fold on an average.
