NBU supports establishment of Financial Ombudsman Institute

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) supports the establishment of the Institute of Financial Ombudsman.
The NBU stated this in a press release, referring to NBU Deputy Governor Kateryna Rozhkova, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The National Bank supports the idea of introducing the Institute of Financial Ombudsman in the country,” Rozhkova said.
According to her, with the help of such an institute, consumers of financial services will find it much easier to interact with financial institutions and solve various conflict situations.
As earlier reported, the bill on introducing the post of ombudsman for finances and investments was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.
