Deposit Guarantee Fund intends to sell insolvent banks’ assets worth almost UAH 21 bln

The Ukrainian Deposit Guarantee Fund this week plans to sell assets of 68 insolvent banks totaling UAH 20.74 billion, the fund’s press service reports.

“The assets of 68 insolvent banks totaling UAH 20,743.86 million will be put up for sale this week,” reads the report.

In particular, it is expected to recover UAH 17,053.66 million from the sale of creditors' claims, UAH 348.35 million from the sale of main banks’ assets. Also, UAH 1,124.80 million is expected to be received from the sale of loan receivables. The assets of the group “securities, corporate rights” will be put up for sale for UAH 216.53 million, and UAH 0.53 million – for the sale of other assets (coins, icons, etc.), the Deposit Guarantee Fund reported.
