Ukraine should unify its ports and customs procedures with partner countries regarding the movement of goods and cargos, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said.

He told this to journalists after a meeting with Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip in Odesa on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Ukraine can play a key role in accessing European markets, connecting with the Baltic countries, Asia. Six international transport corridors go through Ukraine, and in this connection we need to solve several tasks. First, we need to unify the procedures so that they are friendly to business participants, so that all the port and customs procedures were unified with the partner countries for the movement of goods and cargos. And it is the question of developing our capabilities, including increasing passenger flow," Groysman said.

He recalled that the government had already made important decisions that would improve the situation in the development of Ukrainian infrastructure.
