Vice PM Zubko: Local budgets grew to almost UAH 121 bln over January-August 2017

In January-August 2017, the general fund of local budgets received UAH 120.7 billion, which is 30.8% more compared with the same period last year, according to Vice Prime Minister – Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko.
In a post on his Facebook page, he wrote: “Financial decentralization is being carried out. A total of UAH 120.7 billion were transferred to the general fund of local budgets in January-August 2017. Comparing with the corresponding period last year, the increase in revenues amounted to 30.8% or UAH 28.4 billion”.
The income growth of local budgets has been recorded in 21 regions across Ukraine, Zubko added.
