The European partners will provide Ukraine with EUR 100 mln for the Energy Efficiency Fund and for financing of energy efficiency projects.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman informed this on Facebook on the results of a telephone conversation with Vice-President of the European Commission for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič.
"We agreed to attract 100 million euros from our European partners, the targeted funds that will allow us to fill the Fund and start financing specific energy efficiency projects," Groysman stressed.
At the same time, he adds that practical negotiations on the financial support of Brussels for this project will continue in the near future, in particular, during a visit of Šefčovič to Kyiv, which, according to him, will take place in mid-September.
