Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said this at the opening of the Brody production unit of Elektrokontakt Ukraine LLC during his working trip to Lviv region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"USD 58 million was invested in Lviv region in 2016. 12 thousand new jobs were created. Despite the adverse circumstances, investors show a strong belief in Ukraine, and today they have no problems with the VAT return," Poroshenko stressed.
In addition, he stressed that the world's rating agencies over the past few months decided to raise the rating of Ukraine and the forecast for the Ukrainian economy.
