Ukravtodor chief gets almost UAH 900,000 in July

Acting Head of the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) Slawomir Nowak has received a salary of almost UAH 900,000 (about $35,000) for July 2017, according to the unified state register of declarations.
Thus, according to the register, the salary of the Ukravtodor head, including allowances, amounted to UAH 893,849.
It was reported in early August that the acting Ukravtodor head received a 900% wage increase.
While commenting on the growth of Nowak's salary, Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelian said: "He receives a fairly low salary compared with the amount of responsibility that he has."
