Vinnytsia region’s sugar refineries intend to increase production by 10%

Sugar refineries in Vinnytsia region intends to produce 375,000 tonnes of sugar in 2017, which is 10% more compared to last year’s figures totaling 348.9 thousand tonnes, according to Ukrtsukor National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine.
Also, India, Iran, Azerbaijan and China told Vinnytsia authorities they are interested in the purchase of sugar produced in the region.
In 2017, seven sugar refineries will operate in the region, according to Ukrtsukor.
In particular, Moyevskyi sugar refinery will be put into operation after a three-year halt.
