Kenya extends duty-free purchase of Ukrainian fodder corn for one year

The procedure of duty-free purchase of Ukrainian fodder maize for Kenyan companies has been extended until June 30, 2018.

This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.

"The Government of Kenya has extended until June 30, 2018 the procedure for the duty-free purchase of "yellow" fodder maize for the needs of companies belonging to the Association of Millers and the Association of Feed Makers of Kenya. The Government of Kenya also extended until September 30, 2017 the duty-free purchase of "white" food maize," reads a statement.

The ministry notes that this year Ukraine has already exported to Kenya corn worth USD 17.5 million. This is 111,500 tons.
