PM Groysman promises a 25% pay raise for teachers in 2018

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman says the government intends to raise salaries of teachers by at least 25% in 2018.

“I promise that teachers’ salaries will be raised by at least 25% next year,” Groysman said after visiting the Social Service Center in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

Earlier, the prime minister repeatedly announced about government's intentions to raise salaries of teachers and plans to provide Ukrainian schools with new equipment.
