NBU bought $50.9 mln at today’s auction

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) at the foreign exchange auction today, August 21, bought $50.9 million, according to the press service of the central bank.
As a result of the auction, the minimum exchange rate of hryvnia was UAH 25.45 per U.S. dollar, the maximum – UAH 25.47 per U.S. dollar, and the average weighted exchange rate – UAH 25.4603 per U.S. dollar.
Earlier, the NBU stated it planned to buy up to $100 million at the foreign exchange auction on August 21.
