Germany allocates an additional humanitarian assistance in the amount of EUR 1 million to Ukraine under the UNHCR program.

This is stated on the website of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kyiv.

"This year, Germany again provides non-refundable aid worth EUR 1 million to support the humanitarian activities of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)," the report reads.

The aid is provided in the framework of the project "Protection and Assistance to Internally Displaced and Other Vulnerable Persons Who Suffer from the Crisis in Ukraine". The project is directly aimed at that part of the population that is suffering from the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine.
