Minister Omelian: Some Ukrzaliznytsia officials to be laid off

Ukrinform
Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelian says that there will be some staff changes at PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia.

"This is not only my requirement [on layoffs], this has been stated by the prime minister a month ago, and I believe that this will be done next week. As this concerns not only Balczun [former Ukrzaliznytsia head, who had been earlier dismissed]," Omelian said on ZIK TV Channel.

The minister added that staff changes should concern deputies and heads of structural subdivisions at Ukrzaliznytsia.

Omelian stressed that corruption at the enterprise has grown significantly, and that’s why Ukrzaliznytsia should be returned to the management of the Infrastructure Ministry.
