Ukrainian agrarians already received UAH 2 bln in budget subsidies

Ukrainian agrarians have already received UAH 1,914.6 billion in budget subsidies, which is half of the sum envisaged under the state program for 2017, the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry reports.
“In August, agrarians received budget subsidies totaling UAH 590.7 million, which is 61.8 million more than last month. In general, the amount of payments received in 2017 amounted to UAH 1,914.6 million, which is almost half of UAH 4 billion envisaged under this program for the current year," reads the report.
In June, the State Treasury Service of Ukraine transferred UAH 590,683,028.52 from the non-budgetary account of the Agrarian Policy Ministry to 737 agrarian producers.
A reference note, NBU’s exchange rate as of August 10 is UAH 25.72 per 1 U.S. dollar.
