Ukraine paid the International Monetary Fund USD 450 million under the standby program of 2014.

Hromadske TV informs this with reference to a representative of the National Bank.

"Indeed, payments began under the standby program. And the first payment has been already transferred. In general, the volume of payments to the IMF - both on the principal amount of debt and interest on debt - is about USD 1 billion in August-December of this year and it poses no threat to the volume of international reserves. We have already taken these payments into account when forecasting the growth of international reserves to USD 20 billion by year-end," the representative of the National Bank of Ukraine said.
