Ukraine to export 470 MW of electricity in August

In August of 2017, Ukraine will export 470 MW of electricity to the EU and Moldova.

This is said in the forecasted electricity balance of the United Energy Systems of Ukraine of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry for August of 2017, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Ukraine will export 90 MW to Moldova, 80 MW to Poland. And 300 MW will be exported from Burshtyn Energy Island.

As reported, in January-June of 2017, Ukraine increased the export of electricity compared to the same period in 2016 by 44.6% - to 3.164 billion kW-h.
