NBU assets grew to UAH 973 bln in H1 2017

In January-June 2017, assets of the National Bank of Ukraine grew by UAH 32.74 billion, to UAH 973.32 billion, the NBU press service reports.

“Over the six months of 2017, the assets of the National Bank of Ukraine increased by UAH 32.74 billion, from UAH 940.58 billion to UAH 973.32 billion,” reads the report.

The growth of assets is due to the growth of international reserves of Ukraine by 16% to $17.9 billion (in equivalent).

The central bank's liabilities for the first six months grew by UAH 11.47 billion, from UAH 792.95 to UAH 804.43 billion.
