Ukrtransgaz: Ukraine to increase transit of Russian gas by 20%

Ukraine has completed preventive and repair operations at transit gas pipelines, the press service of PJSC Ukrtransgaz reports.
“On Sunday, July 16, 2017, according to the schedule of preventive and repair works at transit gas pipelines, Ukrtransgaz and gas transmission system (GTS) operators from neighboring countries completed a set of preventive and repair operations,” reads the report.
The company said that the volume of transit of Russian natural gas will be increased by 20% from July 18.
The volume of gas transit is expected to reach the level that was recorded at the beginning of repair operations, Ukrtransgaz added.
