Natalia Mykolska: Exports of Odesa region reached $1.5 bln in 2016

Exports of Odesa region amounted to $ 1,520.5 million in 2016. Among region’s largest trading partners were the European Union, Turkey, India, Egypt, and China.
Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade – Ukraine’s Trade Representative Natalia Mykolska posted this on her Facebook page.
“Exports of Odesa region amounted to $ 1,520.5 million in 2016. Its largest trading partners are the EU, Turkey, India, Egypt, and China. The main exporting industries are agrarian industry and chemical industry,” Mykolska said.
She also stressed that Odesa region has huge potential.
"It is important that many exporters cooperate with the Ministry and the Export Promotion Office, use the tools to support and develop exports, strengthen their positions on the existing markets and enter new ones. We jointly create opportunities for the Ukrainian business on the EU market," said Mykolska.
