European Commission to allocate additional 50 mln euros for needs of territories adjacent to demarcation line

The European Commission will allocate additional EUR 50 million for the needs of the territories adjacent to the line of demarcation in the east of Ukraine.
European Commissioner for the Euro and Social Dialogue Valdis Dombrovskis said this today during a briefing in Mariupol.
"We will continue to provide financial assistance to Ukraine, in particular in the framework of macro-financial assistance, but we will also use other forms. It has been recently decided to provide Ukraine with additional EUR 200 million, 50 million of which will be spent on the territories adjacent to the line of demarcation," Dombrovskis said.
