Ukraine should implement 44 European directives and regulations in the field of agricultural policy by the end of this year within the framework of integration into the European Union.

This is reported by the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine.

"Only for four months of 2017, the trade turnover amounted to USD 2.450 billion, of which USD 1.753 billion was the export of Ukrainian agrarian products. However, the equally important for us is the constant joint work with the EU in such sectors as, for example, phytosanitary and veterinary regulations, policies in the forestry and fishing industries," Deputy Agrarian Policy and Food Minister of Ukraine for European integration Olha Trofimtseva said.
