Poroshenko: Local budgets increase by UAH 100 billion due to decentralization reform

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is pleased with the results of the decentralization reform as the local budgets have already increased by UAH 100 billion.
The President said this at the meeting on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Association of Ukrainian Cities, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Much has been done for three years of decentralization. Tell me honestly, did any of you believe three years ago that we could achieve such results? The local budgets have increased by UAH 100 billion during this time," Poroshenko said.
The President noted that the increase continued.
Poroshenko stressed that the development of the communities would strengthen the country's ability to withstand the aggressor's onslaught, provide the army with the reliable rear and make Ukraine competitive in the global dimension.
