Ukrzaliznytsia tests e-ticket system for trains on Ukraine-Poland route

Ukrzaliznytsia PJSC is planning to introduce a system of electronic tickets for all trains running between Ukraine and Poland.

In particular, today the company has started to test the e-ticket system for train 705/706 Kyiv-Lviv-Przemysl, Director of Long-Distance Passenger Transportation Department at Ukrzaliznytsia PJSC Oleksandr Krasnoshtan has stated on Facebook.

“We have agreed to introduce e-tickets for all trains running on the Ukraine-Poland route in the near future. Hence, the need to buy tickets at railway ticket offices will soon be just a memory,” Krasnoshtan noted.

According to him, today Ukrzaliznytsia PJSC has started to test the e-ticket system for INTERCITY+ train 705/706 Kyiv-Lviv-Przemysl, and after that e-ticket services will be available to passengers.
