Iraq lifts the ban on poultry imports from Ukraine

This has been reported by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

"The ban on poultry imports from Ukraine to Iraq has been lifted, according to a report from the director general of the relevant agency of the veterinary medicine of the Republic of Iraq,” reads the report.

A reminder that the ban on poultry exports from Ukraine was introduced by Iraq, Hong Kong, Yemen, Jordan, Qatar, China, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates in connection with outbreaks of avian influenza.

Qatar earlier lifted the ban on the exports of poultry products from Ukraine.
