Vice PM Zubko signs cooperation agreement with International Finance Corporation
The signing ceremony took place in the House of Government, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“It is very important for us to cooperate with the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation, which constantly help us in solving certain issues so that to improve doing business in the construction industry and, without exaggeration, to improve the investment climate in Ukraine," Zubko said.
He stressed that it is strategically important for Ukraine’s economic growth to have high positions in the Doing Business ranking.
"This is an indicator for investors, a sign for small and medium-sized business showing that it is really possible to do business here. Therefore, Ukraine's joint activities with the World Bank are aimed at taking up worthy positions in the ranking. Thus, today the Regional Development Ministry signs a cooperation agreement with the International Finance Corporation, which is member of the World Bank Group," Zubko said.
