Ukraine joins International Organization of Pension Supervisors

The Securities and Stock Market State Commission (SSMSC) has joined the International Organization of Pension Supervisors (IOPS), which will enable Ukraine to raise the quality of pension supervision system.
This has been reported by the press service of the SSMSC.
“The International Organization of Pension Supervisors (IOPS), at a meeting held on June 19, 2017, approved an application of the Securities and Stock Market State Commission (SSMSC) for membership in the organization. The Commission received the status of Governing Membership,” reads the report.
The SSMSC notes that membership in the IOPS will allow Ukraine to implement global IOPS standards, improve the quality of pension supervision system and introduce an effective risk prevention system.
