Vice PM Zubko: Ukraine, Kazakhstan to extend export-import cooperation

Within the framework of the Kazakh-Ukrainian Business Council, an agreement was reached between the two countries on export-import cooperation.

Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister – Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities stated this at the 13th meeting of the joint interstate Ukrainian-Kazakh commission for economic cooperation.

According to Zubko, the Development Bank of Kazakhstan is ready within the Kazakh-Ukrainian Business Council to consider the sale of products under the projects with significant export potential. Namely, it concerns exports of railway carriages and locomotives.

Also, the Export Insurance Company KazakhExport stated it is ready to support export supplies of Kazakh non-raw goods to Ukraine by providing insurance and financing for Kazakh exporters and their Ukrainian buyers.

In addition, Vice Prime Minister Zubko informed that the parties agreed to expand cooperation in the field of IT technologies and the development of startup projects within the framework of the state program Digital Kazakhstan.
