Cabinet cancels state regulation of prices for food staples from July 1

The Cabinet of Ministers has abolished state price regulation for a number of goods and services from July 1, 2017.
This has been said in the resolution of June 7, 2017 No. 394, promulgated on the Governmental portal.
"The Government has abolished the state price regulation for a number of goods and services. In particular, the relevant acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine were declared to be no longer in force and a number of decisions were amended. The main purpose of these changes is to reduce the administrative pressure on business, eliminate the excessive state interference into economic processes, develop competition and deregulation in the field of pricing," the report said.
The resolution comes into force on July 1, 2017.
