The press service of Naftogaz reported this on Thursday.
"Since 2014, Naftogaz has consistently held to such a stand both in correspondence and during official meetings with representatives of the Russian company," the report said.
At the same time, Naftogaz confirmed its willingness to conduct negotiations in Brussels or in another city in the EU.
As reported, the day before, Gazprom invited representatives of Naftogaz to Moscow to discuss gas transit to Europe after 2019 as the current contract between Naftogaz and Gazprom provides for the mandatory transit of Russian gas through Ukraine until the end of 2019.
