Government allocates UAH 1.5 bln of subventions for united territorial communities

The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated UAH 1.5 billion of subventions from the national budget to support the infrastructure projects of united territorial communities.

The relevant decision was approved at a government meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

According to Vice Prime Minister -Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Services Hennadiy Zubko, due to the subvention, a total of 366 united territorial communities will receive financial support this year to improve the quality of services, to establish a center for providing administrative services, restore social facilities, schools, kindergartens, reconstruct and repair of roads, bridges, water supply facilities, introduce energy efficiency measures, purchase vehicles etc.

In addition, according to the minister, the subvention is also aimed at developing the infrastructure, taking into account the needs of persons with disabilities.
