Ukrainian NPPs produced 228.99 mln kWh of electricity in last day

Ukrainian Nuclear power plants produced 228.99 million kWh of electricity in last day, which is almost the same compared with the previous day (228.13 million kWh), the press-service of Ukraine’s State Enterprise “National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom” reports.
On May 29, 11 out of 15 power units are functioning at the Ukrainian power plants.
It is the 20th day of the average planned repair at power unit No.3 of Zaporizhzhia NPP, and the 58th day of the average planned repair at power unit No.3 of South-Ukraine NPP.
Also, power unit No. 6 of Zaporizhzhia NPP, on May 26, 2017, was cut off from the power grid at 16:03 local time to eliminate the defect on the impulse line of main circulation pump No. 4.
Radiation, fire-prevention and ecological state on industrial sites of NPPs are within normal limits.
