NBU: Number of banks operating in Ukraine - 90

As of May 25, 2017, the number of banks operating in Ukraine totaled 90.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) stated this in a press release, the text of which is available to Ukrinform.
At the same time, the national regulator notes that Ukrainian banks with foreign capital amount to 38.
The NBU added that during 2014-2017, a total of 90 banks were removed from the market.
