PM Groysman: Revenues from customs grew by UAH 500 million

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman says that daily revenues from Ukrainian customs total UAH 1.3 billion, which is by UAH 500 million more than before.

He stated this during Government Question Hour meeting held in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday, May 26, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“We see the growth in revenues from the Ukrainian customs, moreover, a significant one. The process of bringing order at customs has begun, although the order is still very far. Previously, daily revenues from customs payments totaled [UAH] 800 million, at present - not less than UAH 1.3 billion per day," Groysman noted.

As earlier reported, since the beginning of the year, UAH 94.4 billion in customs payments have been transferred to the national budget. The customs of the State Fiscal Service exceeded targeted revenues by UAH 11.1 billion.
